How to Check for and Apply a Firmware Update on Your JordiLight
Keeping your JordiLight updated with the latest firmware ensures you have access to the newest features and optimizations. If you have any questions or encounter any issues during the update process, please contact our support team for assistance.
Ensure Your JordiLight is Charged: For a smooth update process, make sure your JordiLight is fully charged or keep it connected to a power source.
Download the JordiLight App: If you haven’t already, download the JordiLight app available on the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play Store for Android devices.
Turn On Your JordiLight: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on your JordiLight.
Connect Your JordiLight to the App: Open the JordiLight app on your smartphone. Connect to your JordiLight via the Bluetooth menu.
Navigate to Firmware Update: In the app, go to 'Menu' > 'Settings' > 'Device Settings'. Look for a section labeled 'Firmware'. If an update is available, you will see a notification indicating "Update Available."
Start the Update: Tap on the "Update Available" notification. You'll be directed to the firmware update page. Here, tap the "Update Now" button located at the bottom of the screen to begin the update process. During the update, the status LED on your JordiLight will turn off, which is normal.
Wait for the Update to Complete: The firmware update process may take a few minutes. It's important not to disconnect your JordiLight from the power source or close the app during this time. Once the update is complete, the status LED on your JordiLight will turn back on.
Firmware Update Complete: Once the status LED turns back on, your JordiLight is updated with the latest firmware. This update may include enhancements for battery management, new features, or improvements to existing functionalities.
