Having trouble getting your JordiLight to charge properly? Follow these steps to ensure your device charges as expected:
Check Your Charger Specifications:
Use a 5V 2A Charger: For optimal charging performance, we recommend using a charger with a 5V 2A output. Chargers with different specifications may not effectively charge your JordiLight and can lead to longer charging times or insufficient power delivery.
Inspect the Status LED (Pictured Above):
While Charging: Connect your JordiLight to the charger and observe the status LED. If the LED:
Blinks Red: The device is charging.
Shows No Light: If there is no indication from the status LED, your device might either be fully charged or not charging at all.
Power On Test:
Check Device Power: After attempting to charge, hold down the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the JordiLight. If the device does not turn on, it likely did not charge, indicating a need for further troubleshooting.
Note: Regularly check the condition of your charging cable and ensure the USB-C port on your JordiLight is clean and free from debris that could obstruct the connection.
