Remember, Device Settings options will only show up if your JORDILIGHT is connected to your app.

Under device settings, you will see the following:

• Device Name

• Firmware Version

• Device Version

• Enable Fall Detection

• Fall Threshold

• Power Hold Time

• Reset JordiLight to Default Settings

Device Name

By selecting this option, you may change the name of your device.

1. Type in a new name for your JORDILIGHT

2. Hit save to save the name

3. Hit cancel to cancel this option

4. Hit reset name if you have already selected a name that you would like to change
   

Firmware Version

By selecting this option, your app will search for any available updates. If an update is found, the "Update Available" button will appear. Tap this button to initiate the firmware update process for your JordiLight to the latest version.

On the Firmware Update screen, you will be presented with details about the new features or improvements included in the latest firmware version. Once you have reviewed these details and are ready to proceed, press the "Update Firmware" button located at the bottom of the screen to start the update.

Device Version

Clicking this will show if there is an option for a newer version of JORDILIGHT.

Enable Fall Detection

This setting allows you to toggle the fall detection functionality of your JordiLight. When enabled, it enhances user safety by detecting falls and sending alerts. By default, this is enabled.

Fall Threshold

Adjust the sensitivity of your JordiLight’s fall detection in units of G-force to set the level of impact that will trigger a fall alert. By default, the threshold is calibrated to balance sensitivity and prevent false alarms effectively.

Power Hold Time

Personalize your JordiLight experience by adjusting the duration needed to activate or deactivate your device. This setting allows you to change the hold time for the power/mode button to suit your personal preference and response speed. The time can be set anywhere between 1 to 6 seconds, with the default set at a convenient 3 seconds, ensuring a balance between quick access and accidental activation prevention.

Reset JordiLight to Default Settings

Restore your JordiLight to its original factory settings with a simple tap. This function reverts all customization back to the default configurations, perfect for a fresh start or troubleshooting purposes.

Push Notifications

Push notifications allow you to decide whether or not you want to receive notifications from the JORDILIGHT app. Slide to the right to choose to receive notifications or to the left if you do not want to receive notifications.

Navigation

Selecting navigation lets you set the unit you want your JORDILIGHT to navigate in. The options are metric or imperial.

Emergency Contact

Customize your safety net by designating an emergency contact within the JordiLight app. This crucial setting ensures that your chosen contact receives an emergency SMS if you activate the SOS feature on the Dashboard, if a fall is detected, or if the panic button combination is pressed on your JordiLight (holding both the Power/Mode button and the Options/Color buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds). Set up is straightforward, providing peace of mind that help is just a button press away during critical moments.

Enable Panic Button

This feature empowers you to swiftly alert your emergency contacts by enabling the panic button on the Dashboard. A simple toggle ensures that assistance is always within reach in urgent situations. Upon activation, a 60-second countdown begins, offering you the flexibility to send the emergency SMS immediately or cancel it, as needed, from the panic SMS popup. Designed for immediate response, the panic button feature prioritizes your safety and peace of mind, making it an essential component of your adventures.

Enable Emergency SMS

Empower your JordiLight with critical communication capabilities by enabling the Emergency SMS feature. This setting allows you to send out an automatic emergency message from the app Dashboard or directly from your device in urgent situations, such as when a fall is detected or the panic button combination is activated. By default, this lifesaving feature is set to active, ensuring you're always prepared to alert your designated contact with the press of a button or during specific emergency triggers.
